I was so blessed to be able to photograph some amazing families while in California. Here’s the first out of a few; the W family. They are as cute as ever with three of the most adorable, busy boys I’ve ever seen. I am so glad I finally had a family that was willing, and apparently very able, to do a jumping photo. I love jumping photos, you can’t help but smile when you’re actually jumping, or when you’re looking at the photo 🙂 Thanks, Stacey and David for letting me take your pictures again. Even though it was freezing, and noses were running, and little voices were asking to go back to the car, I’m glad we were able to stick it out. Yet another precious family I’m honored to have the privilege photographing. Mr. O and Mr. H are two of the sweetest boys that love each other and just so happen to share a love for a special singing snowman. 🙂 Thank you, Libbey and Nigel, for letting me be a part of this day and letting me freeze time for just a moment of those two handsome boys of yours.

There is something magical about photographing families…getting to spend that time with them and just letting them be and interact, and trying to be there in the right spot to capture *that* moment. When I get home I usually wait a day to look at the images. And then when I do finally look, I am always overcome with emotion. I’m not sure if it’s because I photograph some of the sweetest families in the world or what, but it happens and this sweet family didn’t disappoint. There is nothing more special than sisters.
